Davi Vieira was born in Salvador, Bahia, in Brazil. He is a percurssionist, songwriter, and vocalist, who has toured Europe, Asia, Africa and the USA with several dance companies.

He has played and recorded with several artists, among them are Angelique Kidjo, Santana, Meshel N’Degeocello, Sun Ra, Wyclef Jean (new Fugees album), Yerba Buena, Baby do Brasil, Deborah Blando, Bebel Gilberto, Vinicius Cantuária, Maria de Barros, Marchan, Richard Bona, Patrícia Marx, Muzenza, Tony Mola and Bragada.

In his work as a songwriter, he composed and recorded four songs with Dave Eggar for his new album “Left of Blue”, with the band I.C.U, and others.

Davi is a founding member of Ogans Band and MD MCs, a Brazilian RAP group, that released a CD and music video with EMI Records.

Davi was also a member of the off-Broadway show “Stomp” for ten years, and is now recording his debut solo album.
